- Descaling Method: The control box supplies a square wave signal to a coil of wire that is wrapped around the pipe. The signal is swept from 2,000 to 24,000 times a second, producing a modulating frequency waveform that hits the resonant frequency of the calcium carbonate molecules causing them to lose it's adhesiveness.
- Enclosure: made out of high-impact ABS molded plastic. The Polycarbonate thermoplastic offers good electrical insulation and heat resistance. Light gray UV stabilized polycarbonate body and clear Polycarbonate cover. UL approved transformer plugs into unit. Mounts to any surface with enclosed two-sided tape on back of unit.
